Think Again High School Beach Cup – Recap

Over the weekend the Term 4 Think Again High School Beach Cup was hosted along City Beach with 71 teams from WA’s High Schools taking part.

The second edition of the event in 2018, the term 4 competition was dominated by the girls with 42 of the 71 teams being female.

Hale School and Santa Maria College both took out the year 11/12 Division in the boys and girls competition respectively.

The event also saw the return of the pairs division after a two year absence. The open age group competition saw 16 teams compete across the male and female divisions with the boys from St Stephens Carramar, Ky Landers and Caleb Lampard capping of a stellar final year with the win. While in the girl’s pairs, it was Tia Chamberlain and Sarah Hasslerharm who took out the win representing Rossmoyne Senior High School as a community team.

The event also saw a number of new schools participate in the competition, as well as a number of regional participants taking part including Merredin, Newton Moore Senior High School and Esperance Volleyball Association.
