Club / Organisational Affiliation
As the peak administrative body of Volleyball in Western Australia, Volleyball WA works with a range of community groups, clubs, organisations and schools to promote volleyball as ‘the game for all’. Volleyball WA believe that the club and association network is vital to delivering the sport from grassroots to the Volleyroos.
In accordance with the sport's Constitution and policies, organisations must be affiliated with the State Sporting Association to be eligible to receive any rights or privileges granted to the organisation. Affiliation is open to all organisations within WA who wish to participate in and grow the sport of volleyball.
The affiliation categories include:
- Platinum / Platinum Regional
- Suitable for organisations that wish to access the full range of Volleyball WA benefits and services.
- Gold
- Suitable for those organisations that only run social / recreational activities who do not wish to access the full range of benefits.
- Silver
- Available to schools who only wish to access Volleyball WA school based events and activities.
- Bronze
- Available to community groups, recreation centres and other non-for-profits who wish to access the promotion and support networks of Volleyball WA.
The term of affiliation begins on the 1st January and expires on the 31st December each calendar year.

Player Membership
To participate in Volleyball WA events, programs and competitions, players will need to have an active membership.
Player Memberships are based on access to services and benefits. It has therefore been developed on a sliding scale and has been designed to reflect different levels of involvement in the sport.
The membership categories include:
- Platinum

Suitable for players who wish to access the full range of VWA competitions and programs including full benefits and services. Personal Accident Insurance (tier two) for volleyball related activities is included as well as access to Diamond Fitness Strength and Conditioning program. Platinum Membership for Adults $117, for Under 19 Membership $95.

- WAVJL Membership

Suitable for those Under 19 players who wish to access the Junior League competition only (WAVJL). Personal Accident Insurance (tier three) for WAVJL training is included. WAVJL for Under 19 $74.

- Gold

Suitable for those players who wish to access social / recreational activities only. Personal Accident Insurance (tier three) for volleyball related activities is included. Gold Membership for Adults $39, for Under 19 $33.

- Bronze ATABT Membership

Suitable to individuals who want to play one event of the Alcohol. Think Again Beach Tour (ATABT series). An individual can only purchase this membership once and if they wish to play in more than one event a Platinum Membership must be purchased. The cost is $37.

- Technical/Life Membership
- This is a free Membership assigned to active and accredited coaches and referees through the Member Portal. Volunteers are also eligible for this Membership; however, they must be listed on the Club/Association Affiliation Application Form. This Membership provides Personal Accident and Professional Indemnity Assurance during the volleyball related activities.
The term of individual membership begins on April 1 and expires on March 31 the following year. At any point, members are able to upgrade to a higher membership category (fees will apply) to access additional services and benefits.
