Volleyball WA Visits Christmas & Cocos Island

Volleyball WA Participation & Education Coordinator, Max Wason, recently travelled to Christmas and Cocos Island for some regional development with the communities of both islands. Volleyball is a huge passion for both islands with Indoor Volleyball the focus on Christmas Island and Beach Volleyball on Cocos Island.

The regional visits consisted of clinics for all year groups at both Christmas Island DHS & Cocos Island DHS, advanced after school sessions for students & adults and social competitions.

Volleyball WA also presented both schools with a complimentary Spikezone kit to help them continue to develop Volleyball in their communities.

Volleyball WA would like to thank the communities of Christmas and Cocos Island for being so welcoming and committed to the development of Volleyball within their schools and communities.
