2014 World League ‘Final 6’ in Florence

Florence, Italy is hosting the 2014 World League Finals which started this week. The World League Final 6 consists of Brazil, Iran, Italy, Russia, USA and of the course the Australian Volleyroos.

The finals will see the 6 teams separated in to two groups of three who will play each other, with the bottom side in each group eliminated. The Volleyroos are in Group H and will take on Italy and the USA. The four remaining teams will advance into the semi-finals with both the bronze medal and gold medal matches taking place this Sunday, 20^th July.

The Volleyroos will meet USA on Thursday, 17^th July and then Italy on Friday, 18^th July.
