CLUB/ORGANISATION AFFILIATION
AFFILIATION
The term of affiliation begins on 1st January and expires on 31st December each calendar year.
As the peak administrative body of Volleyball in Western Australia, Volleyball WA works with a range of community groups, clubs, organisations and schools to promote volleyball as ‘the game for all’. Volleyball WA believes that the club and association network is vital to delivering the sport from grassroots to the Volleyroos.
In accordance with the sport's Constitution and policies, organisations must be affiliated with the State Sporting Association to be eligible to receive any rights or privileges granted to the organisation.
Affiliation is open to all organisations within WA who wish to participate in and grow the sport of volleyball.

AFFILIATION CATEGORIES
Suitable for clubs, associations and organisations that wish to access all VWA services and benefits. Regional organisations should opt for a Regional Platinum membership unless they wish to enter WAVL. Key features include:
• Ordinary Member of Volleyball WA as per the VWA Membership Policy
• Voting rights at AGM
• Public Liability Insurance, Public Indemnity Insurance and Personal Accident Insurance for individual members
• Eligible to enter all relevant VWA events and competitions including the Western Australia Volleyball League (WAVL), WA Volleyball Junior League (WAVJL), ATA Country State Championships, and VWA Social Volley events
• Eligible to host VWA Sanctioned Events
• Eligible to attend the annual VWA Clubs Conference
• 10% Volleyshop discount
• Letters of endorsement
• Complimentary ICB Court (at Volleyball WA) and kit hire
• Single occasion VWA Boardroom hire
• Club development support
• Listing on the VWA website
• Promotion in Volley Voice
Suitable for those organisations that only run social events/activities and who do not wish to access the full range of affiliation benefits. Key features include:
• Public Liability Insurance for the duration of the volleyball event or activity (for example, a six-week social competition)
• Eligible to enter VWA Social Volley events
• Eligible to host VWA sanctioned events
• Eligible to attend the annual VWA Clubs Conference
• 5% Volleyshop discount
• Letters of endorsement
• Complimentary ICB Court (at Volleyball WA) and kit hire
• Single occasion VWA Boardroom hire
• Club development support (limited)
• Listing on the VWA website
• Promotion in Volley Voice (limited)
Specifically targeted to assist and support schools who wish to access VWA-organised schoolbased events and activities. Key features include:
• 5% Volleyshop discount
• Personal Accident Insurance for the schools’ students (Event Only).
• Ongoing teacher resources and professional development
• Eligible to enter Schools Cup and WAVJL
• Support finding coaches and referees
• Quarterly schools newsletter
• Upon request attendance at School Assembly and School Cluster volleyball competitions
Targeted to Clubs, community groups, recreation centres and volleyball providers that wish to work with Volleyball WA. Key features include:
• Letters of endorsement (project-based)
• Information on Coaching and Referee Accreditations
• Skill development opportunities
• Ongoing updates on any new VWA events and activities
• Support to transition to the WA Volleyball League (WAVL)
• Eligible to enter into VWA Social Volley events
• Volleyball WA presence at events (e.g., present medals)
• Acknowledgement opportunities including VWA website and social media promotion
