The Ikons win at School Sport WA Teacher Games

Kids are not the only ones competing at an interschool sports carnival. The School Sport WA Teachers Games is an annual, multi-sport, mass participation event exclusively designed for educators across Western Australia.

Sporting, recreational and social events are available to individuals and teams with a smorgasbord of high and low intensity events to choose from.

Volleyball WA coordinated the Volleyball competition which took place on Wednesday, October 5 at the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre.

Mixed teams played in two pools, each match lasting 25 minutes with the best of 3 set winners moving on to the next round.

The final was contested between The Ikons and Baldivis Secondary College with The Ikons coming out victors 2 sets to none.

Volleyball WA wants to thank School Sport WA for organising the event and the teachers for being part of the Volleyball competition.
