2018 Alcohol. Think Again State Championship – Recap

The 2018 Alcohol. Think Again State Championships have once again seen WA’s top regional clubs go head to head over two days of competition. 

15 teams from Esperance, Albany, Karratha, Broome, Busselton, Mandurah and the Pubjabi Cultural Sports Club (PCSC) all competed for the 2018 title. 

The fierce competition saw Esperance Volleyball win the overall title with both of the club’s A Division teams progressing to the finals. Esperance bested Busselton in the men’s final three sets to nil, however in the women’s final Karratha proved to be too strong taking out the win in three sets.

While in the B Division, PCSC won the men’s final over Karratha Heat and Busselton collected the win in the women’s competition over Mandurah. 

Congratulations to Nick Bew (Albany), Alycia Buenaflor (Karratha Flames), Harpreet Dhillon (PCSC) and Christie Daniels (Busselton) who were all voted MVP’s in their division.
