2018 AJVC – Update

With the best of junior volleyball battling it out on the court this week at the Australian Junior Volleyball Championships (AJVC) in Coomera, Queensland, our WA athletes were bound to make some waves.

At the end of day 3 of competition, WA’s 7 teams have an overall current record of 15 games won out of the 28 played.

The individual team records are

U19 girls in good stead with 2 wins, 2 losses

U19 boys coming up against some strong competition to be 1 win, 2 losses

U17 boys with a couple of tough 5 setters to have 1 win, 2 losses

U17 girls Championship with 1 win, 4 losses

U17 girls Division 1 with 1 win, 4 losses

U15 girls with 3 wins, 1 loss

A special congratulations to the U15 boys. At the end of day three the U15 boys, with first year head coach Dylan Wood and assistant coach Greg Hunt, lead the competition undefeated with five consecutive wins.
