That’s it for another year, 35 schools, 305 teams, 5 different venues and almost 3,000 athletes across four days. High Schools Cup is a big event for VWA, and we thank all athletes, teachers and parents for their support and playing in the spirit of the game.

As an added bonus this year athletes from the winning teams received a gift certificate for Mr. Potato along with medals and all athletes got FREE entry to see the Perth Steel V Melbourne Vipers game at Warwick Stadium. We hope that the athletes who did manage to get to the game enjoyed the experience of seeing the state’s best in action and found some inspiration for their own game.
Thanks to our major sponsor, Healthway and their Think Again message for supporting this and many other key Volleyball WA events throughout the year.
We take the sport to the beach next, with the first of two Schools Cup events held over the summer in November.
There are also several WA schools going to compete at the national Australian Volleyball Schools Cup in December and these include Rossmoyne Senior High School, Hale School, Aquinas College, Greenwood Senior High School plus some new faces St James Anglican School, Gilmore College, John XXIII College and Christmas Island District High School. We wish each of them good luck.
