WA Steel to be known as Perth Steel

As the national competition transitions to the new Australian Volleyball Super League in August 2023 so will the WA Steel move to become the Perth Steel.

The new Super League has been developed as a supercharged City versus City national league, designed to engage, and entertain. Built for audiences at the game and on Broadcast, this adrenaline-fuelled version drives higher leaps, faster action and harder spikes creating a high-impact, highly competitive and fast-paced version of volleyball.

This subtle shift will be gradual and build as the Super League builds.

What won’t be as subtle of course is the roar of the Perth crowd as they cheer on our athletes representing our State and competing for a championship and bragging rights for our sport crazy town.

WA Steel Fans can be assured of the same exciting game day experiences and opportunities to get up close and personal with Steel players so make sure you get a hold of your season membership for 2023. On sale from July 1.
