Who will take the title from DLGSC?

The team from the Department of Local Government, Sport, and Cultural Industries (DLGSC) are the two-time reigning champions of the Fortix Corporate Cup but there has been some tough talk coming from the other teams suggesting they might be about to be knocked off the winner’s podium.

The Fortix Corporate Cup is held during Mental Health Week to encourage people to take time from their desks to enjoy some physical activity, get outside and socialise with colleagues.

The challenging teams are from; Healthway, Commonwealth Bank, Star Physio, Coors Chambers, Westgarth, SpeedFit, and HFM. Sources tell me that one team has enlisted private coaching from an Olympian and that another has recruited some new blood and is expecting to be strong contenders this year.

Naming right sponsor Fortix CEO, Paul Faix says “I really love the spirit in which the competitors participate in this event, while there is some corporate rivalry, it is friendly and everyone has a few laughs. The Inner City Beach courts at West Perth are the ideal venue because it gets people outdoors with bare feet in the sand. The connection to Mental Health Week and the messaging continues to be an important one in our community so we are very pleased to be able to support Volleyball WA to bring this event to the calendar each year. “

Our other partner, The Good Grocer Leederville will again be providing catering for our athletes. They also cater other corporate events like board meetings, staff social events, and more so please reach out to them to find out more.

Stay tuned to see who wins the 2022 Fortix Corporate Cup!
