The Perth Steel are back and ready to commence preparations for the 2026 Mahindra Australian Volleyball Super League.
The 2026 season dates have been confirmed, with Round 1 kicking off on the 10th of October and the finals scheduled for 21-22 November. Perth will host two home games on 17th October and 1st November.

The Perth Steel represent Western Australia’s premier indoor men’s and women’s volleyball programs, bringing together the state’s top available athletes to compete in the Australian Volleyball Super League. Selection is highly competitive and performance based.
Athletes who did not take part in the 2025 Squad and wish to trial in 2026 must be endorsed by their State League or Reserves Club Coach as part of their Expression of Interest (EOI). All athletes seeking selection this year must submit an EOI before the closing date. Steel athletes are generally expected to be competing in State League. However, there may be opportunities for developing Youth (U18) and Junior (U23) athletes who are competing in State League Reserves.
Athletes who fill in an EOI will have the opportunity to attend one or more open Steel sessions as part of the EOI process, which will differ between the Men’s and Women’s programs as outlined below.
