WA Volleyball Junior League 2020 – Recap

The 2020 Western Australian Volleyball Junior League (WAVJL) concluded its shortened season on Friday, with semi finals and grand finals played across all six Divisions at Aquinas College and The Rise. 24 out of the 59 teams who competed in Junior League this season went through to Friday’s finals, and six teams came out victorious.

Junior League, like the Western Australian Volleyball League, experienced a delayed start to the season as well as an unusual extension into Term 4 due to COVID-19. Volleyball WA CEO Robyn Kuhl expressed her gratitude for “all the hard work put in by clubs, schools and parents to assist Volleyball WA in assuring there was an opportunity for WA’s junior athletes to play the sport they love, at a time when the community needed it the most.”

Congratulations to all the winners this year.
