It was a huge weekend of Volleyball for WA teams this weekend. Our Perth Steel playing their final matches away and the WA Volleyball League Grand Finals. Fourteen matches, eleven clubs, six referees, across 5 different courts at Warwick Stadium.
The headline games were a tussle between the State League Reserve teams from Busselton Volleyball Association and Chequers Volleyball Club. Chequers won the Women’s match and Busselton winning the Men’s.
Not to be outdone were the Division One matches happening on the adjacent court two, both matches five set showdowns with Apex winning the Men’s competition and Balcatta winning the Women’s competition.
Was wonderful to see so many supporters at the games which we are sure did not disappoint.
