AVL Results: WA vs AIS

This weekend saw the final round game in Western Australia of the Australian Volleyball League. It was great to see all the Western Australian AIS athletes (Lewis McDonald, Trent Mounter, Luke Perry, and Sam Walker) over in Western Australia playing in these games. A special well done to all the WA Hornet’s team too; we now have our fingers crossed awaiting the results over the next weekend.

For those of you that don’t know at present there are still four teams competing for the final spot in the top four – WA Hornets, UTSSU (NSW), VVA (VIC) and Uni Blues (VIC). All of the other teams play this weekend whilst the WA Hornets have now completed all of its round games and waits anxiously for the results of the coming weekend.

Game 1 – WA Hornets lost 3 -1 (25 -20; 17 – 25; 21 -25; 19 -25).

Game 2 – WA Hornets lost 3 – 0 (17 – 25; 22 – 25; 22 – 25)
