The Club Person of the Year is an award that goes to an individual (or in this years case two individuals) after a 3rd party (non committee member) receives votes from the executive committee, extended committee, club coaches and team captains. They make judgement by whom they think has worked the hardest, put the most time in, helped out others and generally goes above and beyond for the club.

This year, Amy McIlroy and Sharon Parker could not be split.

Sharon has completely re-worked all our registration sheets, team lists, monetary collection methods, and always does a wonderful job as our administrator.

Amy took charge as Vice President/President when Club President, Jason Bell, went on holidays, she also coached two teams throughout the year, helped organise our quiz night and organised our entire awards evening. She also attends every meeting, including the clubs conference, and did not stop working hard for the club this year.

Volleyball WA would like to congratulate Amy and Sharon on their well deserved ‘Club Person of the Year Award’!
