Busselton Volleyball Association supports inclusion and diversity in our sport!

It is wonderful to see another one of our affiliates providing opportunities for everyone in the community to play our great game.

This indoor season, Busselton Volleyball Association were very happy to have the Busselton branch of Enable Western Australia – NDIS service providers – entering a Social team of clients and staff in the local Thursday night volleyball competition.

Long-time beach, indoor and indoor-beach player Lisa Roberts has been the driver behind this initiative. While initially there was some hesitancy from some of the players, after a few games, according to Lisa, they are having so much fun “I can’t keep them away now, even for the 8.30 pm games- lol”

Busselton Volleyball Association supports inclusion and diversity in our sport, to further extend the social, physical and mental health benefits, as well as add to our volleyball community.

Volleyball WA’s Adaptive Volleyball programs include Chair Volley for seniors and Sitting Volleyball for people with physical or intellectual disabilities. For more information please visit the website.
