The Think Again High School Beach Cup returned for Term 4 to begin the beach season. Over 100 teams from across WA competed on the sands of City Beach on November 15.

After a wet and windy night the sun came through providing a great spectacle for the event run alongside the Alcohol. Think Again Beach Volleyball Tour (ATABT) Round One finals.

In the Pairs divisions Qi Den Kuan and Danyl Mathews from Rossmoyne Senior High School edged out Seb Northmore and Ben Farley from Hale School 30-28 in the men’s final, while Hannah Walker and Alysha Ely also from Rossmoyne claimed gold over the All Saints College pair of Asha McDonald and Gabrielle Ho in the women’s final.

In the four-a-side competitions Mandurah Baptist College won the Year 9/10 Female A, Year 7/8 Female A and Year 7/8 Female B divisions. Margaret River Senior High School claimed the Year 11/12 Female gold medal with Wesley College winning the Year 11/12 Male division. Hale School, Merredin College and Aquinas College also scored a gold medal in Year 9/10 A Male, Year 7/8 Male A and Year 7/8 Male B division respectively with Rossmoyne claiming the Year 9/10 Female B division. In their first appearance at the Think Again High School Beach Cup, Leeming Senior High School took out the Year 9/10 Male B division in a hard fought grand final.
