This weekend saw a fantastic display of beach volleyball at the Alcohol.Think Again Beach Tour, Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority (MRA) WA State Open.

Thank you to all our wonderful competitors who played in the event, to all of our event staff, volunteers and referees who helped make the event such as success.

Thanks also to John McGrath MLA our VWA Patron and Michael Janiec from MRA who came down to the event and helped us with presenting the medals! Thank you also to our many sponsors and stakeholders who continue to provide their support for volleyball in Western Australia.  Special acknowledgement of Healthway with their Alcohol.Think Again message, MRA, Volleyball Australia, Fortix, Hit 92.9, Sunday Times / Perth Now and the Department of Sport and Recreation.

A special congratulations to Damian Schumann and Joshua Court for taking out the men’s competition and to Christie Jenkins and Brittany Tiegs who took out the women’s competition
