Round 6 of the ATA Beach Tour, the WA Open is still going ahead and modifications have been made in consultation with the VWA Heat policy, on Saturday 10 and February 11 2024.

To ensure the safety and wellbeing of the players, pool play games will begin at an early start time of 5:50am. The Elite divisions and Men’s Competitive will be played at Scarborough Beach, while Women’s Competitive will be played at the Inner City Beach courts, to try and limit games being played in the middle of the day.

All divisions will play Finals at Scarborough Beach on Sunday with games again beginning at 5:50am. Competitive Grand Finals are scheduled to be played at 8:30am. The Show court will be the place to be on Sunday from 9:50am with Men’s Elite Grand Final followed by the Women’s Elite Grand Final at 10:50am. At the conclusion of the grand final a medal presentation will take place and ‘The best in the west’ will be crowned.
