In an exciting move for Volleyball WA, Karyn Murray, an experienced professional in event management and sport development, has been welcomed aboard as the new Competitions Manager. Karyn, with a wealth of experience from her previous role as the General Manager of Events and Sport Development at Gymnastics WA, is set to bring her expertise to elevate volleyball competitions across the state.

 

Karyn’s credentials extend beyond her professional career; she was a Federation of International Gymnastics Judge for Rhythmic Gymnastics in a volunteer capacity. Her multifaceted background promises a fresh perspective and innovative ideas for the growth of volleyball in Western Australia.

 

But that’s not the only exciting news for Volleyball WA. Brad Barclay, after a six-month journey exploring the vast landscapes of Australia, has rejoined the VWA Team in the South West. Brad’s return adds depth to the team, with his passion for volleyball and a renewed energy to contribute to the sport’s development.

 

Moreover, in a strategic move, Jess Grigio continues her invaluable contribution to VWA. As part of the evolving landscape, Volleyball WA has decided to split the Peel and South West Regional Development roles, enhancing their focus on each area for more targeted growth and development.
