Are you interested in sports integrity? Have you thought of yourself as an adjudicator? Volleyball Australia needs you!
Volleyball Australia has recently revamped its integrity policies including adopting Sport Integrity Australia’s National Integrity Framework.
Under our new policy framework for managing disputes and disciplinary action, there may be times where we need to convene an Internal Tribunal Hearing to hear and adjudicate disciplinary matters. As such, Volleyball Australia is currently assembling a panel of Internal Tribunal members and invites expressions of interest from the Volleyball community.
Volleyball Australia is seeking volunteers with an interest in sport integrity to sit on ad-hoc Tribunals as needed, generally conducted virtually, outside business hours.
Each Tribunal will comprise of a mix of legal practitioners and sports administrators.
Legal Practitioner is a person holding a current practising certificate as a lawyer or barrister in any Australian jurisdiction.
Sports Administrator means a person who currently, or within the previous five years, is or has been employed in the field of sports administration.
To express your interest, submit the Expression of Interest Form or for further information, please contact Kate Walker (VA National Integrity Manager) at integrity@volleyball.org.au or 0435 067 668
