Alcohol. Think Again Beach Tour WA Open returns to Scarborough Beach

The 2023/2024 WA Open is returning to Scarborough Beach for Round 6 of the Alcohol. Think Again Beach Tour. You’ll be able to watch a weekend full of Beach Volleyball and take part in fun volleyball activities, while being at one of the best beaches in WA. The event begins on Saturday 10 February with the pinnacle culminating in grand final matches on the show court on Sunday 11 February. A heatwave is coming too! We will still be hosting the event and starting very early in the morning (around 5.30am) to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all athletes and staff.

The WA Open is the biggest beach event in WA and will be full of local and interstate talent, at the conclusion of the event a team will be named ‘best in the west’ on the sand. Prize money will be on the line, which will make finals even more exciting.

“There are many contenders for WA’s best beach, but perhaps its Scarborough Beach that provides the perfect amphitheatre and show court for both competitors and spectators. Please come down and support the Alcohol. Think Again Beach WA Open players competing at this fantastic location”, says Volleyball WA’s CEO Robyn Kuhl.

Healthway’s Acting CEO Jeremy Hubble said that our partnership with Volleyball WA aims to generate a greater understanding of the Alcohol. Think Again message. “Through our partnership we create environments that help support the volleyball community to lead healthy lifestyles.” he said.

Why not gather some friends and family and come along to enjoy a range of activities on offer in the Discover Volley Tent, experience the ‘come and try’ volleyball and collect some giveaways on Sunday between 9am and 12pm.

So, come on down to the amphitheatre at Scarborough Beach and get involved in one of Western Australia’s fastest growing sports! With a perfect mix of competition and fun, the Alcohol.
