Malaga holds top position after Round 2 of Indoor Beach SuperLeague

It was Malaga Indoor Beach Volleyball Centre who managed to hold their spot on the top of the ladder after Round 2 of the WAIBF SuperLeague Competition. This round saw all 8 Indoor Volleyball Associations travel to Port Kennedy Indoor Beach centre to battle it out for the top spot leading into 2021.

At the end of round 2, the top of the ladder spots for each division goes to:

  • Mens 1 – Joondalup
  • Mens 2 – Malaga
  • Ladies 1 – Canning Vale
  • Ladies 2 – Ossie Park
  • Mixed 1 – Malaga
  • Mixed 2 – Mandurah
  • Mens 35+ – Malaga
  • Ladies 35+ – Canning Vale
  • Junior Boys – Joondalup
  • Junior Girls – Joondalup

Tournament Director, Jemma Green said “Even with the new COVID check-in requirements, the event went off without a hitch. Cody and the team at Port Kennedy Indoor Beach did a fantastic job of implementing all the new safety features to ensure we still get to play our sport”.

The teams now move onto Round 3 at Bunbury Indoor Beach Volleyball on 13th & 14th February and then Round 4 at Ossie Indoor Beach Volleyball on 20th February 2021.
