On the 2nd and 3rd February 2019 after two years, the Alcohol. Think Again Beach Tour was back in Busselton for another epic weekend. Some amazing results were recorded on the weekend, in the Women’s Elite division, the pair Sadler/Anderson proved to be too strong for their opponent Diaz/McIlroy. They won their grand final match in two straight sets 21-15 and 21-19. In the Men’s Elite division, tournament favourites Lewington/Hague went down in the semis to Adams/Bateman who made their first ever grand final together on the beach tour. The pair Adams/Bateman however faced tough opposition in the grand final and lost to a dominant team Abbott/Piggott, who won the tournament without dropping a single set.
In the competitive division, local pairs Gow/Combridge and Drown/Scadding won gold in Men’s and Women’s division respectively. Please click here to view the full results.
