Volleyroos finish 5th in Asian Championships

The Volleyroos have won their 5th-6th classification match against Thailand in 4 sets (26-28, 25-14, 25-18, 26-24) in the 17th Asian Championships in Dubai, which was a rematch of one of the World Championships Qualification Tournament matches in Canberra.

This marks the end of a tough international season for the team, but they have done us all proud by qualifying for the World Championships in 2014, won the 3^rd Qatar Invitation Tournament in 2013 and competed well at 17^th Asian Men’s Championships in 2013.
