The VWA Sitting Volleyball State Team Program is back for year-two and kicks off in September with trials for the 2026 Australian Sitting Volleyball Championships!
The event will be held from 5-6 December in Gold Coast, Queensland.
COACH EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
Applications are now open for the ParaVolley Head Coach and ParaVolley Assistant Coach of the WA Sitting Volleyball State Team.
Deadline to apply is Thursday 3rd September.
TRIALS
Trial registrations for the WA State Team are now open through your VWA Member Portal – athletes must have either a 26/27 Gold, Platinum or Volleyroo Membership to register.
Sitting volleyball is a form of ParaVolley. Therefore, athletes for this team will be selected in line with our ParaVolley State Team Athlete Selection Policy.
Trial #1 – Friday 11th September at LeisureFit Melville, 6:00-8:00pm
Trial #2 – Tuesday 15th September at The Rise, 7:00-9:00pm
Trial #3 – Friday 18th September at The Rise, 6:00-8:00pm
Athletes 18+, all genders, with and without physical disability are eligible to trial for this team.
