Following its inauguration at the 2021 SportWest Awards, The Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries (DLGSC) Sports Administrator of the Year is back.

DLGSC Sports Administrator of the Year Award acknowledges the hard work and dedication of sports administrators from across the WA sport industry.

The finalists for the award, as determined by the Community Sport Selection Panel, are: Troy Kirkham (Australian Rules Football), Brett Patten (Tennis) and Robyn Kuhl (Volleyball)

Troy Kirkham, Executive Manager Game Development & Community at the West Australian Football Commission, has been an outstanding administrator within the sports industry for several years now, often leading the way in innovation and sport development. Robyn Kuhl has been the CEO at Volleyball WA since 2013 and during this time she has been instrumental in the growth of Volleyball in Western Australia. Robyn’s commitment to sport extends beyond volleyball. She is a founding member of the Women of Sport Network, which advocates and supports professional development in the sports industry, and continues as an Advisory Board member.

The winner of the DLGSC Sports Administrator of the Year Award will be announced at the SportWest Awards on 23 February at Optus Stadium. SportWest invites all Members to join us in what will be an incredible night celebrating the achievement of these incredible Sport Administrators
