VWA Senior Volley Program
Senior Volley, or Chair Volley, is an adapted version of volleyball catered towards participants aged 55+ or with disability. The game is played with 6 chairs on each side of a 4m long net approximately 1.2m in height. An inflatable light weight ball is used similar to a beach balloon. Court dimensions are around 4m in width and 6m in length, meaning chair volley can be played almost anywhere.

Coaches
Coaching Volleyball is a rewarding experience as you watch individual athletes evolve into a singular team. Volleyball Australia’s new Coaching Framework means individuals can now do their Level 1 Foundation Coaching Course accreditation online.

Referees
Referees are essential to any sport. Without referees and the lack of rule enforcement would make volleyball a significantly less pleasant sport to play.
The Foundation Level 1 Referee Course is an introductory course for new referees, aiming to give individuals enough knowledge to get onto the stand to start to learn about officiating.
