New Affiliation & Membership structure

Volleyball WA is excited to launch a new Affiliation and Membership structure for the 2018/2019 season.

Following discussions with Volleyball Australia, the Volleyball WA Board and during the Clubs Conference, Volleyball WA believe the new structure allows for greater flexibility and tangible benefits.

“Participation, Pathways, Profile through People are the new priorities in the 2018 – 2021 Volleyball WA Strategic Plan. We believe it is time Volleyball WA adapts to better reflect the changing nature of sport and recreation in Australia. Volleyball WA spent 2017 discussing how best to support all members of the sport, from grassroots to our international athletes. Through this new structure we are better able to achieve our mission of promoting healthy lifestyles through Volleyball. We believe the new membership model offers everyone an opportunity to be part of our Volleyball WA family.” Volleyball WA CEO Robyn Kuhl said.

Affiliation for Organisations is now broken down into 5 levels; Platinum, Platinum – Regional, Gold, Silver and Bronze. This structure provides Clubs, Associations, Schools, Community Groups and Recreation Centres the ability to access the most applicable level of service for their needs.

Individual Membership follows the same structure; Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze. In addition the individual membership also introduces a ‘White’ membership for one off events, ‘Technical Membership’ for coaches, referees and volunteers and a ‘Supporter’ membership for those who wish to be kept up to date.

Further information will be sent out to all clubs and associations over the coming weeks. Individual membership will open via CRM in February, to find out what level best suits you needs, please view the Service Based Membership breakdown.
