Volleyball WA is pleased to announce a new partnership with FrogBox, an Australian sports technology company that connects sporting communities through accessible and shareable video. The collaboration aims to increase the visibility, accessibility and reach of volleyball across Western Australia.
Through the partnership, FrogBox will introduce its live-streaming technology to the sport, allowing matches to be easily broadcast, shared and accessed by athletes, officials, supporters and the wider community.
The partnership will be piloted at the Alcohol. Think Again Beach Tour (ATABT) WA Open 2026, providing an opportunity to showcase FrogBox’s technology to the volleyball community and demonstrate how accessible streaming can enhance engagement, participation and storytelling within the sport.
Events such as the WA Open offer an ideal platform to highlight how technology can support the growth of volleyball, improve audience reach and create new opportunities for athletes and organisations alike.
Volleyball WA CEO, Sophie Row said the partnership aligns strongly with the organisation’s strategic vision for the sport:
“This partnership with FrogBox represents an exciting step forward for volleyball in Western Australia. Improving access to our sport through innovative technology allows us to better support athletes, engage new audiences and showcase volleyball at all levels. Piloting live streaming at the WA Open gives us a valuable opportunity to explore how digital solutions can enhance the experience for players, officials and fans alike.”
Zac Goodchild, Head of Commercial Operations at FrogBox, said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to innovation and growth:
“FrogBox is excited to partner with Volleyball WA as we look to expand our technology into new sports and environments. Volleyball WA has shown a strong appetite for innovation and growth, and we see a real opportunity to work together to increase visibility and engagement for the sport across the state.”
The partnership reflects a shared focus on innovation, accessibility and the long-term development of volleyball, with both organisations committed to exploring how live streaming and digital solutions can support the sport’s growth across Western Australia.
