Beach Volleyball is returning to the South West Region for the second year, in line with VWA and the City of Bunbury’s agreement and involvement in the Summer Lovin Program. Round 5 of the 2024/2025 Alcohol. Think Again Beach Tour will be played at Koombana Bay on the 18th and 19th of January 2025.
“Volleyball WA in cooperation with the City of Bunbury bringing an Alcohol. Think Again Beach Tour Round to Koomabana Bay in January 2025. The Bunbury community has a passion for beach volleyball, and we are hopeful that bringing the tour to the region for a second year will encourage the next generation of players to try their hand at the sport,” said Volleyball WA CEO, Robyn Kuhl.
Bunbury Mayor Jaysen de San Miguel said “The event held at the iconic Koombana Foreshore is one not to be missed and we encourage everyone to make their way down to the beach and show their support.”
Regular beach tour players and local Bunbury players will play against each other to crown the winners of the round, putting on a show of athleticism and sportsmanship. Local athletes will have a hometown advantage and have a good understanding of the weather conditions.
