2024 State Championships Wrap-Up

Volleyball WA is excited to announce the results of the 2024 State Championships, where teams displayed remarkable talent and sportsmanship during a thrilling weekend of competition at this year’s Alcohol. Think Again Country State Championships.

A total of 46 teams from across Western Australia gathered in Perth for this two-day tournament, engaging in a series of intense pool matches, followed by exciting finals.

In the Men’s Division A finals, Busselton faced off against Mandurah, with Busselton emerging victorious in a hard-fought battle. The Men’s Division B final saw Karratha take on Mandurah, with Karratha securing the win in a tightly contested match.

The Women’s finals were equally competitive, with Mandurah clinching Gold in Division A after a thrilling match against Busselton. In Division B, Bunbury triumphed over Mandurah, showcasing their skills and determination. Mandurah’s impressive performances across multiple divisions led them to be crowned the overall State Champions for 2024.

A special thank you to all participating teams, including Albany, Esperance, Busselton, Bunbury, Mandurah, Kalgoorlie, Karratha, Hedland, and Boulder Pasifika, for making the trip to Perth. The friendly rivalries and camaraderie created an incredible atmosphere for players, officials, and spectators alike.

Looking ahead, October promises more excitement with the Alcohol. Think Again Country of Origin tournament on October 6th, followed by Groundswell taking place on October 5th and 6th, and the ATABT Round 1 Qualifier on October 19th. Stay tuned for more updates!
