Alcohol. Think Again Beach Tour (ATABT)

Round One: City Beach (Open)

Date: 11th and 12th October 2026
Location: City Beach (Challenger Parade)

Cost: U19 Teams – $130.00, Adult Teams $150.00

Event Information

The 2026/2027 Alcohol. Think Again Beach Tour will kick off with the Round 1 at City Beach. If you are looking to compete in the tour this season, this is a crucial round to start accumulating tour points.

The competition will be an Open Format, where competitors can choose to participate in either the Elite or Competitive Division. Both divisions will play across both days, with pool play on Saturday and single elimination finals on Sunday.

There will be a technical meeting on Saturday morning which is mandatory for at least one team member from each team to be present at. If at least one team member is not present at the technical meeting, the first set of the team’s first game of the round will be forfeited.

 

Registration Information

Registrations Open: Saturday 19th September in the Membership Portal (Fortix)

Registrations Close: Wednesday 30th September, 9pm.

  • Make sure to add your team members at the bottom of your VWA Portal under “MY TEAM” before filling out the appropriate form. All participants must be 2026/2027 VWA Platinum Members
  • All teams are required to have at least one team member with a Level 1 Referee Accreditation
  • Teams must compete in the official Alcohol. Think Again uniform. Approved uniform colours are black, blue, and teal, with matching bottoms required. Uniforms can be purchased from the Volleyball WA Volleyshop.

If you are having technical difficulties registering, please contact the VWA Office during office hours, or email the Events Coordinator with evidence of the issues before the deadline to still be considered. If your team misses the deadline, you can call the VWA Office from Thursday morning asking to be placed on a waitlist in case a team drops out or if VWA decides that your entry can benefit the draw. These will be dealt with on a first-come-first-served basis and entry into the competition is not guaranteed.
