Volleyball WA is excited to announce that we are heading back to Bunbury for round seven of the Alcohol. Think Again Beach Tour. The beautiful Koombana Bay will again play host providing a wonderful backdrop to the high energy action of Beach Volleyball.
“Volleyball WA is happy to collaborate once again with the City of Bunbury and the Bunbury Volleyball Association to bring a high-level beach volleyball event to this regional town. Bunbury has a thriving volleyball community of its own, and events like this act to inspire the next generation of players” said Volleyball WA CEO, Robyn Kuhl.
The Alcohol. Think Again Beach Tour consists of eight rounds. Athletes’ rankings across the series are tallied to decide who will win the title of Best Male & Female Beach Volleyball Player of the Year. The competition has been very tight so far, so a good result in round seven and eight could be the difference. Spectators should continue to expect some exciting games for the remainder of the tour.
In addition to what is happening on the sand, Volleyball WA and the Bunbury Volleyball Association will be providing an opportunity for spectators to grab some giveaways and come and try the game for themselves.
“It is great to have such an exciting summer sporting event back on Bunbury beaches once again,” Mayor Jaysen Miguel said. “Beach volleyball certainly draws the crowds and we can’t wait to welcome all of the competitors, their friends and family to Bunbury. “I encourage our community to also get down to Koombana and support round seven of the Alcohol. Think Again Beach Tour.”
