Exciting News for Western Australia: National Volleyball Championships Coming in 2025

 

 

Western Australia is gearing up for an exciting sporting event as the Cook Government has announced a three-year agreement to host the National Volleyball Championships. The first event is set to take place at Arena Joondalup in September 2025, and anticipation is already building among players and fans alike.

This championship will not only highlight some of the best volleyball talent from across the country but is also expected to significantly enhance the local economy, potentially bringing in millions of dollars. Robyn Kuhl, CEO of Volleyball WA, expressed her enthusiasm for the event, saying, “The Western Australian volleyball community is eagerly anticipating the arrival of teams from across the nation. It is both an honour and a privilege for the Volleyball WA team to assist and support Volleyball Australia with the hosting of the Australian Youth Volleyball Championships, Australian Club Volleyball Championships, and the National Youth Development Camp.”

In addition to the championships, the Australian Volleyball Super League game, hosted by the Volleyball WA Perth Steel teams on September 21, 2025, promises to be an exhilarating experience for youth volleyball teams and the wider Western Australian community. It will showcase the highest level of indoor volleyball competition in the nation.
