Whilst you are thinking about who to nominate for this year’s Trevor Williams Volunteer Administrator of the Year Award, let’s take a look back at the 2014 recipient.
2014 Trevor Williams Volunteer Administrator of the Year – Peter Batty
- President of Rossmoyne Volleyball Club for at least eight years – Peter has been key in driving the on-going growth and future development of Rossmoyne Volleyball Club.
- Rossmoyne VC had 27 teams from Spikezone through to Super League under the Rossmoyne Volleyball Club Banner – including the re-establishment of the Rossmoyne Volleyball Club Women’s Super League team in 2014.
- Peter is always present at Spikezone and WAVL Junior League on Friday evenings and WAVL on Sundays helping out with Coaching, Refereeing, and liaising with athletes, their parents and their coaches.
- Member of the VWA Industry Think Tank Meeting and WAVL Presidents Committee
- He has been proactive in getting his club members to upgrade the referee and coaching qualifications.
