Volleyball WA Welcomes Refugees

Volleyball WA supported by the Perth Coastal Volleyball Club, participated in the City of Stirling’s Refugee Welcome Day at the Carine Open Space on Saturday 30th April. This event was held to celebrate the contributions of people from refugee backgrounds and promote cultural diversity within our community. Residents came together to welcome the many men, women and children from refugee backgrounds who now call Australia home. In addition to cultural stalls and performances, attendees were also able to play volleyball, learn a few skills from the Perth Coastal players and have fun meeting people from different backgrounds.
