This weekend, VWA hosted the 2017 Alcohol. Think Again Country of Origin Social Volleyball Competition at Warwick Stadium. A total of 39 teams competed, with players representing 16 countries: Philippines, Japan, Brazil, Australia, Samoa, Afghanistan, Mauritius, Malaysia, Taiwan, Poland, India, Italy, Rodrigues Island, Papua New Guinea, Fiji and Hong Kong.

Female A: Winner: PePSCI A-Philippines Runner up: Champions- Poland
Female B: Winner: Taiwan Runner up: PePSCI B-Philippines
Male A Winner: Samoan Spartans (Sydney) Runner up: Punjabi Cultural and Sports Club- India
Male B: Winner: Aussie Masters- AUS Runner up: FASA-Y- Philippines
Mixed A: Winner: Bush Chook -AUS Runner up: Alkimos North Stars- Philippines
Mixed B: Winner: Rodrigues- Rodrigues Island Runner up: Drop Bears- AUS
