VWA would like to acknowledge the significance of the roles seniors play in our volleyball community. Your ongoing commitment keeps our clubs and competitions running smoothly. With seniors being the most likely age group to volunteer, we truly appreciate all of the contributions they have made to the greater community.
To celebrate Seniors Week this year, we once again hosted our annual Senior Volley Cup on Thursday 13th November at Swan Active in Midland. Four teams entered for a day of chair volleyball which saw the Basso Bandits go up against the Basso Boomers in the grand final, with the Basso Boomers winning the day making it their second Senior Volley Cup win in a row.
Thank you to Bassendean 55 Plus Association and Bethanie Aged Care for registering teams and being a part of a great day filled with laughs and friendly competition. Your ongoing willingness to participate encourages more seniors to get involved.
