After a successful come and try day in Boddington on the 25th of February, the interest in the sport has been growing rapidly within the small community.
With help of the ground work Vanessa and her team have put in, VWA Staff were approved to fund a new Grass Kit system through their own fundraising efforts. Across the year, staff members host “Taste of Harmony” lunches to celebrate the different cultures and communities found though out Volleyball participation in WA. With the donations staff have contributed this past year, Volleyball WA are excited to put this towards helping the start up of a new Regional Club.

Kirsty (VWA), Vanessa featured with the new net system, and Paris (VWA).
With the new net, Boddington will look to begin a Social Volley outside of the local Recreation Centre where lines have been freshly marked with the assistance from the Shire of Boddington. They have also assisted in sourcing them some 2nd hand training gear to really kick start the program.
