WA Schools Take on the 40th Edition of the Australian Volleyball Schools Cup

 

2024 marked the 40th edition of the Australian Volleyball Schools Cup. 26 teams from nine WA schools travelled in December to the Gold Coast to compete against schools from around Australia and even New Zealand.

Well done to our WA schools on an amazing week of volleyball: Aquinas College, Greenwood College, Hale School, Iona Presentation College, Mandurah Baptist College, Penrhos College, Rossmoyne Senior High School, St James Anglican School and St Mary’s Anglican Girls School. Big congratulations to the five teams who finished on the podium for their respective division:

GOLD

Rossmoyne Senior High School – Open Honours Girls  (Mikasa Most Valuable Player: Georgia Hamer)

SILVER

Rossmoyne Senior High School – Year 8 Girls Division 2

St James Anglican School – Year 12 Boys Division 3

BRONZE

Penrhos College – Open Honours Girls

Mandurah Baptist College – Year 12 Girls Division 1

The 2025 edition of the Australian Volleyball Schools Cup will return to the Gold Coast, December 7-13.
